Immigration Solicitor (3+ PQE)

Manchester, UK Full-Time

Lexington Ashworth Solicitors (SRA No. 8011832) is seeking an experienced Immigration Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE to join our growing practice. We provide nationwide legal services in both individual and business immigration, along with wills and estate planning.

The Role
  • Manage a caseload of individual and business immigration matters (including visas, sponsorship, compliance, appeals, and related applications);
  • Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients with professionalism and precision;
  • Lead and supervise paralegals and junior staff to ensure best practice and excellent client service; and
  • Contribute to the development of the firm’s immigration services and client relationships.
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with at least 3 years’ PQE in immigration law;
  • Strong track record in both individual and business immigration cases;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently while providing leadership within a small team; and
  • Commitment to the highest standards of integrity and client care.

Paralegal - Immigration

Manchester, UK Full-Time

An exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to support our growing immigration practice. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for immigration law looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment.

The Role
  • Assist solicitors with managing a diverse caseload of individual and business immigration matters.
  • Draft legal documents, application forms, and correspondence under supervision.
  • Conduct legal research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of immigration rules and procedures.
  • Liaise with clients, counsel, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth case progression.
Requirements
  • A law degree or equivalent legal qualification (LPC/BPTC desirable).
  • Previous experience working as a paralegal in an immigration role.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.

Lexington Ashworth Solicitors (SRA No. 8011832) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our expanding Immigration team. You will work closely with senior solicitors to assist in case preparation, client communication, and document management across a broad range of immigration matters.

The Role
  • Assist solicitors in managing individual and business immigration cases, including visa applications, sponsorship, compliance, and appeals.
  • Draft legal documents, application forms, witness statements, and client correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and maintain accurate case files and records.
  • Liaise with clients, counsel, and government authorities such as the Home Office and Tribunal.
  • Ensure all case deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
  • Provide general administrative and casework support to the legal team.
Requirements
  • Law degree, LPC, SQE, or equivalent qualification.
  • Prior experience in immigration law (minimum 6–12 months preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
